This two-ply, woolen spun yarn is very versatile, light and soft. We’ve added 10% nylon to improve washability. Great for baby things or light weight knitting. We have experimented with machine washing on regular AND drying in the dryer and finished project will shrink about 10% in one direction (length) and not much in the other direction. Finished items get softer, but lose a little stitch definition.

Medium is right in the middle of all the types of wool and makes an excellent knitting yarn that is fairly soft but still fairly strong.

Fast to knit, this woolen yarn is wonderfully squishy and warm; perfect for sweaters, hap shawls, comforters and the greatest hat yarn ever! Partner Sue Bundy says it's like old fashioned yarn...

Designed especially for weaving traditional Scottish tweeds, North Country Cheviot Yarn comes in three colors on cones: an undyed natural gray heather that is consistent throughout the cone and two colors that are created by shifting blends of dyed wool and undyed grays on the carding machine prior to spinning resulting in a cone of yarn with long runs of color shifting intensity, blending to gray and back to color Fabulous skirt/vest/stadium blanket yarn. Compatible with the Romney with a little mohair.

Tunis is a Medium wool suited to many different projects and so is this yarn. A worsted weight, woolen spun, three-ply has great stitch definition. Especially good for cables, choose it for warm hats, mittens, cowls and scarves. Great sweater yarn (or vests, or ponchos or...)! Dyed with natural dyes, this very small batch of less than 200 skeins is completely dyed. This is all there is folks. Hope to do another spin in 2020 or 2021.
