Such a life
Howdy!
I have yarn photos...but I just couldn’t pick only one sheep photo, so you will just have to come by the stand on Sunday to see the new colors.
Farina had triplets last Saturday morning; 33 pounds worth, what a ewe! And isn’t she clever to have a color assortment. The darkest gray is a ewe lamb named Japonica (that is a type of rice isn’t it?), the light gray one with the black eyes and nose is a ram lamb named Basmati and the littlest white one is a ewe lamb named Jasmine. I couldn’t be more proud.
Notice just how great if feels to sit in the Spring sunshine (Jasmine has it down!). Wouldn’t you be able to relax and soak it in if you had a knitting project with you so you wouldn’t even feel guilty about wasting time. Just an idea that I intend to test.
OK...a little business. First, an apology and correction. I blew it last week. I was creating the labels for the new Tunis/Romney yarn Saturday night before the market and putting them on until rather late. Bad idea. I put the wrong yardage on the labels and sign. I’m sorry, and anyone who bought a skein with that wrong label gets a free one. Second...we will have some new colors of that yarn this week: a bright spring green, a crocus color lavender, two grays: a cool charcoal gray and a warmer tree bark gray and a yellow gold. The bright green, lavender and warm gray are one of my favorite Spring landscape color combinations: Red Buds at the edge of a wood with some bare trees and some in new leaf. We also have one new color of the Romney yarn: a very nice purple, since the other purple is sold out.
